What programs does LWYSA offer for children?

LWYSA offers several programs for youth soccer players between the ages of 6 and 18. The program the majority of our soccer players participate in is our Recreational program. We start at U7 ("U" means under 7 years old) with 6 players on a team up to U19 teams with a maximum roster of 18. Team assignments are made by gender, age and neighborhood. Teams have volunteer coaches.

We also offer a Crossfire Select program for players U11-U18. This program is more competitive than our recreational program. To participate in this program players go through a tryout process. Teams have volunteer coaches who go through an interview process before they are selected to coach a team. For more information go to http://www.crossfireselect.org.

Crossfire Premier is our advanced program for soccer players between the ages of U11-U19. This is a year round program. Coaches are professionals who are paid. For more information on this program visit their web site at http://www.crossfiresoccer.org.

Do you have more than one program for a recreational player?

We have a Fall soccer program and a Spring Training program that a recreational player may participate in. Our fall program starts in late August with games during September and October. Our Spring Training Program is held on weeknights during the month of April and May.
