Hugo Alcaraz-Cuellar joins Crossfire Select as the Club's Coaching Director. Hugo brings a wealth of experience, and we look forward to having him be a part of our club and soccer community. He has worked with youth soccer extensively throughout Seattle since 2007, including the last seven years as Boys Director of Coaching at FC Alliance and GS Surf.

Hugo also brings a decade of professional playing experience. A successful professional soccer player, Hugo was a member of the Seattle Sounders from 2007-2008, and the Portland Timbers from 2002 - 2006. He led both teams in assists for multiple seasons, helping the Timbers reach the USL First Division Commissioner's Cup, and the Sounders to a USL First Division Championship (2007). In 2010 Hugo was ranked 15th in the USL First Division Top 25 of the Decade, a list of the best and most influential players of the previous ten years.

"I am excited to work with a great club," Alcaraz-Cuellar concluded. "I look forward to having the opportunity to contribute my experience to the players, coaches, and families. Our goal is to continue to provide a positive and passionate soccer environment for players to develop and grow as players on and off the field."
